Do I need dental insurance as a student?
If you are 18 or older, dental care is not part of the Dutch basic health insurance. With supplementary dental insurance you get part of the cost reimbursed. Without supplementary insurance you pay the national NZa rate. We give clarity on the cost in advance, so you do not face surprises.
Can I come as an international student?
Certainly. Our team speaks more than 6 languages, including English. International students are very welcome. Bring your insurance card or details and we will look together at what is covered. Our English-speaking dentist page has more information.
How do I register quickly as a student?
You register online via our form or call 010 846 6539. You fill in your details and we contact you for an introduction and first check-up. There is no waiting list, so you are usually seen within a week.
What does a check-up cost for a student?
For a check-up the national NZa rate applies. With supplementary dental insurance this is usually reimbursed. Larger treatments can be paid in instalments via Infomedics if you wish. Our reception is happy to help you review your policy.
Is the practice close to my study location?

Can I switch from my dentist in my home town?
Yes. Many students register with us because they live or study in Rotterdam. You register and, with your permission, we request your file from your previous dentist. You do not have to cancel anything before you are sure you can join us.
How do I reach the practice by public transport?
