Discoloured teeth
When whitening no longer works (medication, old fillings, hereditary), veneers offer a lasting white solution.
Discoloured, chipped or slightly crooked front teeth? Porcelain or composite veneers at Tandarts West, your English-speaking dentist in Rotterdam West, correct colour, shape and position minimally-invasively. In-house dental laboratory, digital smile design, natural result.

Veneers (also called dental facings) are thin shells of porcelain or composite placed on the front of teeth. They correct colour, shape or light alignment issues without covering the tooth fully like a crown. Minimally-invasive cosmetic dentistry for a natural, beautiful smile.
At Tandarts West, your English-speaking dentist in Rotterdam West at Taandersstraat 121, we work with in-house dental laboratory and digital smile design. We simulate the end result digitally and with a mock-up in your mouth, so you see your new smile before the final veneers are made. Patients from Delfshaven, Middelland, Nieuwe Westen and Spangen come here for veneers. Meet our team, view the rates or register online.
For best results we often recommend whitening first to the desired colour, then placing veneers in that colour. Otherwise colour differences appear later, since veneers don't change colour.

3 typical reasons to consider veneers.
When whitening no longer works (medication, old fillings, hereditary), veneers offer a lasting white solution.
Small gaps between front teeth, slightly crooked teeth or asymmetric length, all correctable without orthodontics.
Chipped corners, erosion or grinding wear, accident damage. Veneers restore shape and protection.
Composite veneers in 1 appointment; porcelain in 2 according to this process.
Smile analysis, colour selection, photos and digital simulation of end result.
Light enamel prep (0.3-0.5mm for porcelain) under anaesthesia. Digital 3D impression. Temporary veneers.
Final porcelain veneers custom-made in our in-house lab in 1-2 weeks.
Final veneers fitted, finished and permanently bonded with strong composite cement.
Both have strengths. Which fits your situation?
